The Teachers' Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) and the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) announced today they have signed a Memorandum of Agreement. ATA membership will vote to ratify the tentative agreement from Saturday, September 27 to Monday, September 29, 2025. (Source)

What does this mean?

  • If ATA members vote in favour of the agreement, there will be no disruption to learning.
  • If ATA members reject the agreement, the strike notice remains in place and the labour action will begin on Monday, October 6, 2025.

We respect the bargaining process and remain hopeful the ATA and the provincial government can reach a negotiated settlement that supports all students, staff, and families. Thank you to all our staff teams for their dedication and hard work to support student engagement, support, and success.

Regularly scheduled operations and learning will resume as planned until further notice.

We will share more information on this webpage as it becomes available.
