Foothills Emergency Services Program 2025-2026: Apply Today

The Foothills Emergency Services Program provides students with on-site training related to emergency and health services.
- Students earn high school credits and relevant certifications leading to a variety of health service occupations.
- Training is provided by members of the High River Fire Department and other experts in the High River area.
- Training is based on Medical First Responder (MFR) and Fire Fighter Training (NFPA 1001).
- Including Advanced First Aid and HCP CPR, Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Career Counselling.
Who is eligible?
- 12 spaces available
- Students in grade 11 or 12 in September 2025
- Selection is based on applicant's dedication and commitment -- be sure you put time and energy into your application.
- Students require the following:
- Updated resume
- HCS 3000 (available in FSD Summer School)
- Teacher Recommendation
- Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement
- School Recommendation
- Helpful: first aid certificates
- Attend the open house September 10, 2025
